I'd say it was an unbelievable night on the betting and fantasy front yesterday, but we've already strung together a few of those. The Kraken ended up as our best play and, despite them blowing a late lead, they did enough to cash the Pick of the Day. The rest of the field did their part as well (looking at you Blues and Ducks) to carry us to a +8.82 unit night.
I focused on starting goalies yesterday, but today I'll talk a little more about our relationship with Underdog Fantasy. I can't rave enough about everyone I've spoken to over there, and what they're doing to make fantasy hockey fun again.
Yesterday we hit big on our 20x Play of the Day, taking home 10x thanks to a Jordan Eberle push on shots. Here's the winning ticket:

Their Pick'ems are fun and simple. You either pick "higher" or "lower" on the given total for a player for the given category. In hockey, these categories include goals, assists, points, shots, saves, and hits. We tend to resort to choosing either shots or saves picks, since those are the less volatile categories.
If you download our player projections daily, you know we constantly show plenty of edge on these Underdog plays. You have to at least pair two picks together though for a valid entry, so you do lose some edge in doing so.
In the past we've mostly stuck to two picks on an entry for a 3x payout (triple your entry amount). You can also enter three picks for 6x, four for 10x, and five for 20x. Yesterday's included on of their promoted plays in Josh Allen over 0.5 total yards, so we crossed over sports to use it as an entry boost.
Underdog was generous enough to sponsor last year's PuckLuck Cup, and then came back this season as the sponsor of the Underdog Play of the Day, so I do kind of feel bad taking their money on the Play of the Day, which is currently +16 units on the season and returning over 94% on investment.
What does that mean? Well, if your entered $10 on each Play of the Day you're currently up $160. Be sure to check out today's play later on and get in on all of the fun!
Not already on Underdog? Sign up here using the code PUCKLUCK and Underdog Fantasy will match your first deposit up to $100.
Sorry if that comes of too promotional, but it really is a great deal to get started on a fun and visually appealing fantasy site. We plan on doing more with Underdog throughout the season.
Okay, let's get back to the betting side of things and get into today's edges:
